Applications
- For non-contact measurement, the tachometer's photoprobe
detects a reflective target on the rotating object to read
revolutions per minute.
- For contact measurement, an accessory adapter is used with
the appropriate device - a wheel for surface speed or a rubber
tip for shaft rotation.
- Measures rotary and linear speeds in industrial machinery,
conveyor systems, HVAC equipment, electric motors.
