VIBCODE® Sensor for error-free data collection
VIBCODE is the world's first intelligent system to ensure accurate data collection by an operator, thereby enhancing trending reliability and eliminating repeat measurements due to mix ups.
The measurement stud is encoded with location number and measurement type. A special patented probe locks onto the stud to measure both vibration and bearing condition (shock pulse) with excellent signal transmission and repeatability.

It also allows the data collector to recognize each location and to take the programmed measurement(s) fully automatically.
- Automatically detects measurement location.
- Error-free transfer of measurement information.
- Compatible with VIBROTIP and VIBSCANNER.
- Measures signals on low-speed machines (>2Hz).
- Intrinsic safety (option).

Hardware
- The code carrier is a massive, permanently-mounted stud with M8 thread and conical surface fitting.
- The code ring itself is an incredibly robust mechanical part; it withstands mechanical and electrical forces with ease.
- The code reading principal is based on an extremely simple binary scheme.
- The code ring is mechanically protected by the stud and the rubber dust cap; it is keyed to provide positive registration every time.
- The ring can be read, tested and copied simply by visual inspection, without any complicated electrical equipment.
- Over 7100 different code combinations are possible for each database.

Software
- The digital value of the VIBCODE number is displayed for each measurement.
- During measurement, the code is read several times in succession to ensure correct decoding and data collection location.
- Mathematical binary testing (check sum) when code is read.
- Ring codes generated by computer eliminates risk of issuing the same code twice; automatically registers codes with proper locations in the database.
- PC software shows the VIBCODE number and the code ring with tooth knockout pattern.
- The PC software shows the VIBCODE number both graphically and in text form.
